Lithium Safety Containers at Intersec 2026: Three successful days in Dubai

From January 12 to 14, 2026, we participated in Intersec in Dubai—the world's leading trade fair for safety, security, and fire prevention—together with our strategic partner AF-X Fire Solutions. During three intensive days, we had the opportunity to present our innovative solutions for safe lithium storage to an international audience.

The leading trade fair for fire safety

Intersec is not just any trade show. For 26 years, this event has been the international platform where the security industry comes together. With more than 52,000 trade visitors from 140+ countries and 1,200 exhibitors from 61 countries, the Dubai World Trade Center once again provided an inspiring and business-oriented environment. For us, it was the perfect opportunity to present our PGS37-certified security containers to decision-makers from the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.

Collaboration with AF-X Fire Solutions

Our presence at Intersec was particularly valuable because we participated together with AF-X Fire Solutions. AF-X is known worldwide for its advanced aerosol fire suppression technology—an innovative system that effectively fights fires in enclosed spaces without using water, gas, or foam. Their technology, developed in collaboration with Aerospace Propulsion Products (part of ArianeGroup, a joint venture between Airbus and Safran), is specially certified for fire protection of lithium-ion batteries.

This collaboration is very important to us. While we ensure safe storage in accordance with PGS37 guidelines, AF-X adds an extra layer of safety with their state-of-the-art fire extinguishing systems. Together, we offer a complete safety package for companies that work with lithium batteries.

What we showed

At our booth, we presented the complete range of Lithium Safety Containers:

• PGS37-2 storage containers for safe storage of lithium batteries

• PGS37-2 charging containers specially designed for the safe charging of batteries

• PGS37-1 EOS containers for energy storage systems

• Lithium storage cabinets for small-scale applications

Visitors showed particular interest in our approach, which combines safety, compliance, and practical usability. Many conversations focused on the specific challenges in various sectors—from construction and logistics to automotive and industrial applications.

International interest

What particularly struck us during the three days of the trade fair was the enormous international interest in safe lithium storage. Companies from across the region are becoming increasingly aware of the risks associated with lithium batteries and are actively seeking certified solutions. The growing e-mobility sector, the emergence of energy storage systems, and the increase in battery-powered equipment in various industries are driving this demand.

We had valuable discussions with potential customers and partners from countries including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, Oman, and various African countries. It was inspiring to see how many organizations are taking lithium safety seriously and are looking for reliable partners.

Knowledge exchange and networking

In addition to the activity at the stand, we took advantage of the extensive opportunities for knowledge exchange. Intersec offered various conferences, workshops, and presentations where global experts discussed the latest developments in fire safety, new legislation, and technological innovations.

Networking with industry colleagues, fire prevention experts, and government representatives provided us with valuable insights into international trends and best practices. We will incorporate this knowledge into the further development of our products and services.
